City Design participated in the redevelopment of the Lineal Park on Garcia Leon Boulevard in the city of Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico.
The linear park on García de León Boulevard, strongly supported by Mayor Alfonso Martinez, is one of the first urban redevelopment projects in Morelia, the capital of Michoacan.
It represents a new mobility alternative in the city, as it is expected to be a space suitable for the free transit of all types of pedestrians and non-motorized means of transport.
The Boulevard will also serve as a new recreational area suitable for children, young people, the elderly, and pets, where green spaces will be preserved and equipped with common areas ideal for socializing, playing, and community activities.
Thanks to its partner Galeria Mythos, City Design collaborated on the project by selecting products that best met the project’s requirements with a modern design that respects the historical beauty of the Mexican colonial city.
The choice for seating fell on the LENA collection, which includes both flat benches and benches with backrests, as well as compositions that enhance the design of the Boulevard.
The project also incorporated the WAVE seat/table combination, providing spaces for gathering and working, thus fostering increased socialization within public spaces.
