Human nature is attracted to vivid and natural colors, while dark colors such as grey or black asphalt are associated with negative sensations. It’s no accident that you feel better when you’re looking at natural landscapes instead of city skylines. How can we bring these landscapes and colors into the urban environments we live in every day?
The simplest solution is to install flower beds in the squares, in public gardens and outside public structures such as schools or municipalities. Bringing small nature islands to make cities more welcoming and improve the quality of life for citizens.
An example was the municipality of San Donà di Piave that installed several DUO flower beds along the streets, making the scenery more colorful and lovable.
